Alright, I'm not good at resolutions. I'm good at fazes getting into many then loosing interest after a while. But, eh, what can I say? At least I keep trying!
So, new stuff to try:
Gardening (herbs that we can use for cooking and such)
Exercising (what kind I don't know, I go to the gym sporadically. Maybe sticking to a schedule or something?)
Eating healthier (kinda goes with the gardening thing)
Hmmm...
Maybe get back into knitting...

| My fantastic weekend! |

This weekend was fun. Derrin came over on Wednesday night as a surprise, with the help of Kyle and Brock. It was cute! They were being all stealth and hiding behind a corner in the hallway and Brock hiding beneath the peephole. Lol. Too bad I had classes on Thursday so Derrin had to occupy himself with studying for school at the central library and Starbucks. But for dinner we went to the Roxy with Bri, Beth, and Nani. It was a good dinner! Eagle burger rocks! On Friday we slept in and didn't wake up until eleven or tweleve, I think... Went to safeway to buy bread and orange juice. I ended up cleaning the guinea pigs cage and we played Kingdom Hearts. We also went to my school's Pacific Islander Club meeting. It was alright. A little tedious. For dinner we called Derrin's mom for directions on how to make chicken. The chicken was great! And we a spaghetti to go with it! Yum!
On Saturday, though, we woke up early to go to the school library where we studied for a couple of hours then visited the farmer's market to grab a bell pepper for the babies and a piece of salmon for our dinner that night. Called Derrin's mom for directions again and went to safeway to get the other ingredients for dinner. I made rice-a-roni, the San Francisco treat! And we had salmon , which in my opinion, was the best salmon ever made! We saw Shark Tale afterward. It was a good movie! I really liked it. It was funny even if the animations weren't up to par with Nemo or Shrek. It was still a good story. Kyle and Cienna came over when we got back home. They came from the ballet (which I wouldn't mind seeing either, hint hint). They were cool and we just talked and hung out. It was fun until Kyle told Derrin that they had to read a book that they didn't have for a class that they didn't like. Which leads me to...
Sunday! We woke up early! Eight o'clock in the morning! To go to Powell's to get Derrin's book (Histories, Herodotus) and I also bought a couple of books for the hell of it (Wuther Heights and Dracula). Then Derrin watched football and I went to church. We played some Kingdom Hearts then met Chris, Justing and Anna Maria to see the Blazers! I had a fun time, even though I didn't understand a lot of the game, like fouls and stuff. Ate dinner at my place then Derrin guys left.
Sooo that was my loong weekend and my longest entry so far! Yay! Okay. It's dinner time and mom (Bri) is telling me to eat! Lol! Bye! |

Ha ha ha... I'm done for the first week of school. Yay! So far all my classes are interesting and they all give homework. Well, those are my pros and cons. Chemistry is actually kinda fun. For now. We'll see after they pile more work and my brain overheats. Biology is the same. I can barely understand my Spanish class, but I still like trying. And the people around me are friendly and good at it so I have people to explain whatever my professor said. I really need to work on my comprehension... Anyway, my piggie mentor suspects that Orchid is a boy so now I'm calling him Griffin. And I need to go get him neutered if he is a he. Either that or I get to have a ton of guinea pigs. I hope everyone is doing good and coping with work and school!
